Workforce Planning and Resource Manager

We’re looking for effective and collaborative leader to join our Marking team, and own delivery of a strong seasonal workforce to supplement our permanent team in the delivery of our exam marking. You’ll ensure we recruit the right people to the right roles at the right time to support the business, and will also make sure that our seasonal employees have a great experience of AQA.

What you will do

You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of our seasonal workforce model for the Marking team. This includes building strong relationships with key internal stakeholders across AQA, forecasting and budgeting for the annual seasonal requirements, liaising with the internal recruitment team and departmental colleagues to arrange interviews, planning and delivering training programmes and induction, and supporting departmental colleagues with performance management issues related to our temporary workforce.

This role has a strong focus on continuous improvement so we’re looking for someone with the drive and motivation to make changes and improve across quality, efficiency and cost measures.

Temporary Catering Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer focused individual to join the Catering team at our onsite Bistro and Coffee House to support us during our busy period. The Bistro is a busy catering operation providing breakfast and lunch 7 days a week. We serve and interact with permanent and temporary staff and pride ourselves in delivering excellent customer service in all that we do.

You’ll be serving customers, handling cash, basic food preparation, making sandwiches, cleaning, unpacking deliveries etc.

We’re looking for an experienced recruiter to lead and develop our high performing Volume Resourcing team. You’ll be working in a team with one of the most interesting recruitment challenges in our industry: attracting and recruiting over 15,000 people annually into roles that help to deliver our GCSEs and A-levels.

As Volume Resourcing Manager, you’ll be responsible for delivering a great resourcing service, implementing the volume resourcing plan and ensuring that internal and external stakeholders have a great experience of AQA. You’ll lead the Volume Resourcing function, managing our Resourcing Advisers and Administrators and developing them into a modern, flexible, high performing and commercially focused team. In addition to a core team of permanent employees, you will also recruit and manage our seasonal temporary employees, helping them to feel part of the team and build upon their own skills.

Relationship Manager

As Relationship Manager you’ll be responsible for identifying key decision makers within schools and colleges and seeking opportunities for business growth through building effective relationships with customers, prospective customers and stakeholders. You’ll be:

•developing a territory plan and continually reviewing this plan by collecting, analysing and interpreting market intelligence on competitor and customer behaviour
•working with a Senior Relationship Manager to negotiate agreements with key accounts where necessary, to secure retention and acquisition opportunities in line with targets
•building relationships and driving business in consortia and lead academies
•contributing to the development of our Qualifications and Markets strategy
•identifying key stakeholders, influencers and networks capable of supporting or influencing AQA’s corporate and policy objectives, and feed this back to the relevant internal audience as business intelligence.
