Cyber Security Analyst

Security Services require a Cyber Security Analyst to conduct analysis of threats to the organisations intellectual property and proprietary data, to ensure its confidentiality, integrity and availability is maintained for the business and our valued clients. The role typically includes the following tasks:

What you will do:

  • Monitor the organisations Network to find anomalous or malicious activity using various analytical methods and Security Event and Incident Monitoring tools in a high paced operational environment.
  • The monitoring of indicators and dashboards used in our Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools as well as tracking trends across incidents and events.
  • Provide response to computer security incidents in compliance with Information Security Policies and Industry Best Practices.
  • Review change requests and provide regular security assessments to ensure compliance with Standards.
  • Regularly monitor various information security media and threat intelligence feeds to stay up to date on current network threats, attack methodologies and trends.
  • Analyse the potential impact of new threats and exploits and communicate risks to relevant business units.
  • Provide out of hours on call support for high profile security incidents when required.

Your experience will include:

  • A degree in a computing related field – preferably Cyber Security related
  • Experience in a technical IT environment or evidence of significant self – development in cyber security (such as code or a project)
  • A good technical foundation in Linux, Windows internals, IP networking or malware analysis
  • MSc in Cyber Security or Information Security, Security+ or equivalent security certification preferred.
  • Active or ability to obtain SC clearance
  • Experience with SIEM and/or log aggregation technologies such as QRadar, McAfee ESM, LogRhythm, or RSA SA
  • Experience investigating computer network intrusions or hunting proactively for threats

Senior Supplier Relationship Manager

The Supplier Relationship Manager will join the team to ensure the effective management of strategic supplier relationships at DCC, building trust and cooperation between DCC and its key suppliers and maximising value from those relationships

What you will do:

  • Work with the Head of Supplier Relationship Management and other DCC stakeholders to define the Supplier Relationship Management framework for DCC and communicate, then embed, in the DCC organisation
  • Regularly review and segment the DCC supplier base to determine the appropriate level of Relationship Management effort to be applied to each supplier bearing in mind available resources.
  • Identify and work with the relevant accountable executives at DCC to manage the relationship with DCC’s most strategic suppliers.

  • Considerable experience in Supplier Relationship Management / Vendor Management / Commercial Management within Technology / Telecoms
  • Experience of managing large (£100million+), long term contractual relationships.
  • Proven track-record of building and maintaining effective executive level (CxO) stakeholder relationships both internal and external

  • Responsible for responding and resolving Customer Application incident tickets within SLA and KPI targets;
  • Responsible for the ownership, progression and resolution of incidents allocated, ensuring the end User and incident ticket are fully updated as per the documented processes with all actions taken, including root cause and resolution detail;
  • To provide a high-quality customer support service with excellent communication skills
  • To work closely with the Problem Management Team ensuring comprehensive detail is provided for new problems and defects and all associated incidents are linked to inform root cause analysis and impact;
  • To ensure data integrity is maintained when analysing and resolving incidents;
  • Provide focus and interaction ensuring the Company operates within its agreed SLA’s and KPI’s, liaising with and updating the end user throughout the lifecycle of an incident ticket, escalating to the Incident Management Team Leader as appropriate;
  • Ensuring that Company processes are adhered to and recommendations for improvements are progressed;
  • Actively perform trend analysis to ensure continuous improvements and underlying issues are addressed to reduce the volume of repeat incidents raised through the Help Desk;
  • To develop knowledge of the applications and business processes used within the Criminal Justice sector in order to provide a high-quality customer support service.

Your experience will include:

  • Call Centre / Helpdesk experience is essential, ideally in a software development environment
  • Ability to manage and take responsibility for incident tickets assigned in relation to specialist software functionality
  • Strong customer liaison skills underpinned by a professional telephone manner
  • Exceptional analytical skills to determine resolution accurately
  • Have a technical aptitude in order to implement data change where necessary
  • Be able to work autonomously and within a team to support the end user efficiently
  • Experience of delivering against Service Level Agreement targets and meeting customer expectations
