Kitchen Porters support the kitchen ensuring high levels of service all within Company guidelines and statutory requirements e.g. health & safety; food hygiene etc. As a kitchen porter you will work with the restaurant team to ensure the smooth running of the operation including cleaning, operation of the dishwasher, availability of all equipment and crockery and any other duties associated with a restaurant operation. This is a great opportunity for someone who is keen to gain skills and experience in a full service operation.
To be a successful Kitchen Porter you will be able to work well as part of a small team but also have the ability to work on your own initiative when required. Holding a relevant food safety qualification would be an advantage however not essential as training will be provided.

Assistant Restaurant Manager
Supporting the Restaurant Manager, you will take responsibility for managing the restaurant and kitchen, ensuring the achievement of budgeted targets by consistently offering high levels of service, balanced with efficient cost control, all within company guidelines; and ensuring the operation is always compliant with all statutory requirements e.g. health & safety; food hygiene.
To be successful in this role you will have proven capability as an effective team leader as well as successful delivery of budgetary controls and management. You also ensure full compliance with food safety requirements. Our restaurants deliver high volume in a compact environment and therefore require a hands-on, flexible approach to work. Previous experience in a retail catering role and holding a relevant food safety qualification would be an advantage.
