Senior Vice President

We are now looking to appoint a Senior Vice President to lead on a variety of research projects and accounts.  You will also manage collaborations with Edelman teams such as Brand, Technology, Health, Corporate and Public Affairs, and be responsible for generating business and revenue.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-growing global market research firm, specialising in providing strategic insights and advice on brand communications, corporate reputation and innovative consumer insights.

Responsibilities will include…

– Developing new business, and major global and strategic research projects, managing the end to end process

– Monitor financial expenditure/fee income/business growth as applicable; actively contribute to the Agency’s profitability

– Client relationship management

– Line management, and mentoring of managers and more junior staff (team of 1-8 people)

– Sharing new industry information / research techniques and best practice across the team

– Effectively deliver tasks against deadlines and set targets

– Design and deliver high level, engaging and insightful presentations to clients

– Leading teams working on multiple research projects concurrently across a variety of sectors and methodologies.

Account Manager – Health Brands

The Account Manager’s primary day-to-day role will be to manage and drive their accounts’ day to day work, implementing and delegating across the team and providing junior members with guidance and support. They will be the primary lead on some accounts within the department and will have the opportunity to work in a number of disease areas on high profile brands. The successful candidate will be mentoring junior team members and providing them with guidance on their career development.

Responsibilities:

•Manages account actions within the team delegating and assigning tasks as appropriate and leading weekly meetings both client and internal

•Managing medium to large sized projects across account programmes

•Provides client counsel regarding tactical implementation and as a general day-to-day contact

•Develops and reviews materials such as press materials, budgets, proposals and timelines

Candidate Requirements:

•Expert knowledge of pharmaceutical industry

•Demonstrated account management experience

•Demonstrated creativity in ideas and in the implementation of activities

•Proven excellent project management skills including delegation of tasks

•Demonstrated ability to work flexibility and to tight deadlines

•Demonstrated strong problem solving skills

•Demonstrated strong client relation experience and experience in providing counsel regarding tactics
