Planner/Senior Planner

Knight Frank is the leading independent international property consultancy based in the UK offering agency and professional advice across Commercial, Residential and Rural sectors. The Bristol office is looking to recruit a Planner who will be responsible for managing small to medium scale projects and planning applications as well as assisting on large scale work. The successful applicant will deal with the day to day management of small to medium scale projects such as residential applications, student accommodation proposals, change of use applications, prior approvals, variation of conditions etc. You will be the key client contact, manage project teams, liaise with LPA’s and consultees, and report to senior members of the Planning team.

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal applicant will have 1-2 years experience in a similar role, ideally within the private sector and they will be a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute. You will also be extremely methodical, detailed and organised and will be a strong team player.

Qualifications and Experience:

The successful candidate will be MRICS (rural). The most important attribute for this role is a proven ability to work with people and property. Overall calibre and high personal and professional standards are key to successfully performing this role. Attention to detail, efficiency, a personable nature and an ability to adapt to unconventional clients and their requirements are essential pre-requisites.


Within this position you would be responsible for undertaking valuations and completing the subsequent reporting, on behalf of clients who you have gained personally or work delegated by other members of the valuation team. Within this role you would be required to respond to client enquiries efficiently and professionally, with the ability meet strict deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate must be degree educated and MRICS accredited, whilst also being a RICS registered valuer. You will require previous valuation experience of residential properties, ideally within the South East region. You must be highly organised, with a close attention to detail, and you will require strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills along with previous experience using valuations software. The successful candidate will have the commitment and determination to investigate thoroughly and seek out information necessary for the accurate valuation of property.
