Newcross Healthcare require medication trained Support Workers, with experience of working with clients with Epilepsy, to deliver high-quality care for clients in Poole and the surrounding local area through our friendly Bournemouth branch. Due to the nature of this role a willingness to travel may be required.
The Support Worker Role:
As an experienced Support Worker, supporting service users, promoting their independence and protecting their dignity. Your support will help clients to interact with friends, family and the local community. Each client has a unique and personalised care plan suited to their individual needs; it is essential that you are confident delivering personal care on a case-by-case basis.
You will play an essential role in supporting clients with epilepsy, it is necessary that you are confident delivering personal care with a mindful approach towards protecting the dignity of the individual and promoting their independence.
It’s desirable that you have at least an NVQ2 / SVQ2 level qualification in Health and Social Care, with epilepsy and medication training.
Senior Care Assistant
Due to the nature of this position, it is essential that you have a NVQ3 or equivalent in health and social care. You’ll also require a valid medication administration certificate, or be willing to book onto a Newcross training course.
