- Assessing homeless applications within Part VII of the Housing Act 1996 including cases for acceptance, refusal or referral
- Interviewing clients and completing housing needs assessments
- Exploring all options to prevent homelessness especially through offering effective advice
- Have an up to date knowledge of legislation, case law, best practice and council policies and procedures and initiatives
