Regional Operations Supervisor

To manage a team of engineers over a geographical area and to ensure that all Technical, Health and Safety and Operational procedures are fully adhered to whilst ensuring compliance with company accreditations and current legislation at all times.

Key Responsibilities

To ensure that all works are managed to achieve client satisfaction whilst ensuring works are completed on time and within budget.

? To ensure that the region is fully resourced at all times in line with order book requirements including any necessary recruitment procedures.

? To monitor/review new starters during their probation period and evaluate their competency for the role.

? To carry out first stage disciplinary and grievance procedures.

? To process engineers weekly PDA time sheet and verify on/off site times against tracking software.

? Manage engineer leaver process by making necessary arrangements for recovery of company vehicle and issued equipment.

? To conduct site surveys and compile quotations as required.

? To complete Risk Assessments and Method Statements as required.

? Manage waste management processes by ensuring engineers comply with current waste management procedures.

? Able to demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience of electrical installation practices.

Roles and responsibilities

* Meeting and exceeding individual targets / objectives as agreed with Team Leaders/Managers in regular 121 meetings. These will include quality, amount of saved business and cancellation rates.
* Proactively look for opportunities to upsell customer’s products and services to enhance the customer experience and increase revenue
* To interact with all external and internal customers to resolve issues effectively, whilst maintaining an effective working relationship
* To take ownership of queries, ensuring they are brought to a resolution, whilst maintaining targets and deadlines.
* To recognise and enforce, where appropriate, breach of contract terms or to negotiate an acceptable contribution for early termination of contract. To respond to customer cancellations by using agreed customer care procedures to ensure a satisfactory resolution.
* To negotiate with customers to save cancellation where applicable, by re-selling the benefits of products/services, resolving any problems and/or re-assessing pricing if appropriate.
* To recognise when a customer is of healthy profitability and to offer appropriate incentives to retain the business.
* Keeping up to date with Products and Pricing to ensure correct information is given to the customers

Person requirements

The successful candidate will display the ability to work under pressure, willingness to take ownership of customer enquiries, integrity and commitment. Good communication and organisational skills are a prerequisite.
