Confidence Building Administrator

RNIB’s Telephone Confidence Building Team brings together blind and partially sighted people on Living with Sight Loss courses and in our Talk & Support phone groups to share experiences and friendship, learn about opportunities and to gain knowledge to support independent and confidence living.
Due to our service growth and customer demands, RNIB is now looking for a Confidence Building Coordinator Team Administrator to manage our referrals, provide administrative and financial support for the management team, co-ordinate the work of a team of admin volunteers and develop and provide effective office systems for our team of 30 based all over the UK.
Working with volunteers and team members, you will be ensuring that we increase our impact by having effective systems, great office support and the best use of office systems to ensure we can maximise our reach.
With experience of establishing, developing and managing a range of finance and office based systems, managing databases and ideally, with some experience of managing volunteers, you’ll be contributing to one of the RNIB’s most exciting and rapidly developing services.

Rehab/Mobility Worker

This is an exciting opportunity to help make a difference for blind and partially sighted people in our Bristol Team as a Rehabilitation / Mobility Officer.

In this role, you will facilitate rehabilitation and mobility training for people with sight loss and other disabilities. This will involve assessing their needs for rehabilitation, maintaining accurate case notes and ensuring their safety throughout the process in consultation with your line manager.

You will have a qualification in rehabilitation studies, experience of making accurate and informed assessments in partnership with service users and their cares and experience of working with people with sight loss and / or other disabilities.

Retention Officer

As members of the ambitious and dynamic Individual Giving fundraising team, the Retention Officers will focus on the delivery of raffle and lottery (gaming), and regular giving conversion and upgrade campaigns; and cash and committed giving appeals. The Officers will be raising vital funds and increasing donor engagement through the production of effective communications.

The successful candidates must be able to manage multiple projects and agencies and have excellent communication skills. They must have experience of working across a number of channels including direct mail, telemarketing and digital, demonstrating knowledge of some of the key principles of direct marketing. In addition, they will be comfortable working to tight deadlines, making sure activity is carried out on time, within budgets and to agreed standards, whilst having an understanding of what motivates and inspires our donors.
