About the Role

We are looking for an exceptionally talented and organised individual to provide high level support to our busy CEO and manage the Executive Administrative Support Office – a team of Executive Assistants and Diary Coordinators providing support to the Executive team and other senior leaders.

You will be responsible for supporting the CEO in all aspects of his day to day operations, which can and will vary extensively – one day you may be reviewing budgets and risk registers, the next day attending a ceremonial event, the following day preparing a presentation for the CEO to deliver to the Trustees, or an internal or external audience, therefore there will be a need for a very flexible and adaptable approach to this role.

As this is a new role for our organisation the requirements of the role may change however, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the evolution and shape of this role, in conjunction with the CEO and the needs of the organisation.

This is an ideal role for someone who wants to hone their business skills as part of an upward career trajectory and/or learn more about the high-level operations within a Not For Profit environment.

About You

You will have been in a similar role in a large complex and matrixed organisation, with a strong business management focus, and be able navigate across levels and functions with ease and diplomacy. You will have supported in the delivery of strategy and business objectives and be able to demonstrate your success in working collaboratively and heading project teams, in particular engaging and bring others with you and finding ways to proactively achieve tasks with minimal direction.

This is not a stand alone role, so you must also have strong people management skills as you will be managing a high performing and very competent but diverse team with multiple senior level stakeholders, so you must also have the ability to manage stakeholder and partner relationships effectively.

You will be used to multi-tasking and prioritising your objectives in a fast paced and constantly changing environment. You will be representing the CEO both internally and externally, therefore you need to be professional and articulate in presentation, be able to formulate and present robust and challenging opinion and thought and contribute to the discussion at a senior level therefore you must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
