Licensed Therapist/Counselor – Full-time – Men’s Intensive Outpatient Program
Turning Point is currently accepting applications for a full-time Licensed Therapist/Counselor in the Men’s Intensive Outpatient Program (MIOP). This position provides individual, family, and group counseling to adults with trauma, mental health, and/or substance abuse issues. The Therapist/Counselor must be aware of social factors affecting the psychological well being of individuals, services/programs for psychological/sociological improvement of individuals, and in conducting evaluative interviews. Establishes and maintains good working relationships with other agencies to establish reciprocal referral systems and increase awareness of available services.

Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or other related field, required.
- Three (3) years of experience in clinical services such as treatment planning, group therapy, individual counseling, trauma treatment, and program development, preferred.
- Experience in trauma treatment and program development in gender specific treatment, preferred.
- One (1) year working with substance abuse and dually/multiple diagnosed patients, preferred.
- Licensed by the Georgia Composite Board
