Seeking a Pensions Adviser to join the Human Resources Team on a 12 months fixed term basis to provide a maternity cover.

The successful candidate will be providing a comprehensive service in all aspects of pensions, and related matters for all staff of the University’s School of Advanced Study (SAS) Institutes, central offices and Health Education England (HEE).

To succeed in this role you will need to have a demonstrable experience in a similar pension administration role; previous experience of reconciling monthly pension data and submitting contributions to the relevant pension schemes would be an advantage. In addition to this, you will need to have sound IT skills, proficiency in Excel and demonstrable experience of database applications including proficiency in accessing the integrated HR and Payroll systems.

Seeking an Admissions Officer to join the School of Advanced Study, Central office team on a 12 months fixed term contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the School’s Admissions Office that includes monitoring admissions policies and procedures and ensuring they are consistently applied and that they conform with current external requirements, including statutory requirements. In addition to this you will be responsible for maintaining current student records, supporting the organisation of the School’s admissions, including coordinating the pre-enrolment activity of new students and managing the UKVI reporting requirements and administration of Tier 4 visas.

To succeed in this role you will need to have a relevant experience of student administration, including analysing data, statistics and producing reports. Previous knowledge and experience of admissions administration, ideally within the Higher Education sector would be an advantage. In addition to this, you will have excellent organisational skills and ability to manage and complete competing priorities and heavy workloads to the highest standards and within tight deadlines.
