We are seeking to fill a full-time Academic Engagement Librarian role (fixed-term until 29 January 2021) within the Library’s Academic Engagement Team, which is part of the Engagement & Special Collections Division. This role is a vital connection between our Library and our academic community at the University of Manchester.

The Division of Medical Education is seeking to appoint an Assessment Manager.  The successful candidate will provide strategic and operational leadership for the MB ChB Programme.

You will have relevant experience with a proven track record of delivering a high quality service in the area of student assessments and examinations, preferably within a Higher Education environment.  You will also have experience of supervising and managing staff with the ability to deal with confidential information, have excellent communication, interpersonal, numeracy, organisation and IT skills. You must be able to work flexibly as it may be necessary to spend time at other teaching hospitals. These activities will form part of an ambitious and timely expansion at Manchester of teaching, learning and research in subjects related to the creative economy, with the aim of providing significant research impact, knowledge exchange, public engagement and professional development opportunities through engagement in, with and for the arts and the cultural and creative sectors.
