Account Executive

Business Development is a big focus of ours, and right now we want a self-motivated and highly ambitious Account Executive to cover Newcastle.
Our Account Executives are responsible for the entire sales process – that’s everything from intelligence gathering and prospecting to negotiating and managing accounts.
You’ll spend much of your time growing new and existing business with site visits to customers, offering them a truly comprehensive service offering and logistics partnership.
This will include preparing and presenting high impact presentations. You’ll also integrate new clients smoothly with our operations and support functions, to make sure they get the service they need.

LGV Class 1 Feeder Driver

Feeder drivers play a critical role in our operation by transporting customer’s packages between our centres and hubs. Dependent on location, this role is predominantly evenings and nights with varying start times, this role is from 16:45 – 05:00. Flexibility is required to cover other shifts when required. Salary starts from £29,806.40 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre Trip inspection of the vehicle
• Transportation of vehicle to destination and back again
• Ensure safety of packages during transportation
• Meet specified time deadlines
• Expected to comply with UPS Policy Code and appearance guidelines.
• Accurate recording of working and driving hours to comply with road transport regulations.

Multi-Drop Driver

As a Multi-drop Driver, you’ll be the face of our company in our well-known brown UPS vehicle, collecting and delivering time-sensitive packages throughout the day. It’s a crucial role and one that makes our service unique. You will need excellent organizational skills to plan and prioritize your daily workload. Multi-drop Drivers will work 40 hours per week plus overtime as and when required to meet operational requirements. Part Time Yard Control

The Feeder department have vacancies for Yard Controllers based at London Hub working the Twilight shift although flexibility will also be required.

Monday – Friday
18.30 – 23.30 (27.5 hours per week)

Your responsibilities:

• Enforcement of safe yard processes and procedures
• Management of yard equipment
• Effective communication between all stakeholders
• Yard safety checks, audits and observations
• Report and follow up of non-compliance issues, and undertake ad-hoc project work as required.

Your skills:

• Attention to detail and methodical approach to work
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good problem solving and issue resolution skills
• Have an ability to self-motivate, and also have good basic computer knowledge
• Able to remain calm, courteous and professional whilst having the ability to work under pressure.
