We are looking to hire an Agile Coach to continue to support our IT Team empower World First as we continue to be one of the fastest growing UK foreign exchange specialists.

The role:

Acting as a servant leader, you will collaborate with cross-functional, highly skilled development teams in a fast moving environment, providing coaching in self-organisation, taking ownership, and adopting effective Agile practices to enable them to work quickly and efficiently together. You will cultivate a culture of trust, openness, and excellence to assist teams in the creation of high-value products, and should expect to run presentations, workshops, meetings, and team off-sites for staff both within and also external to IT.

You will identify areas where teams are facing challenges on broad-ranging issues such as how they work together; how they interact with stakeholders; and with how work flows into the team. You will highlight areas for improvement and bring together the relative people to help them conceptualize and implement methods for increased efficiency.

Through advocating Lean and Agile thinking to business stakeholders and key members of staff beyond IT, you will contribute to, and help drive the building of, an environment where continuous improvement of the delivery process is in focus, and where everyone’s common goal is to deliver outstanding software features as efficiently as possible.

You will identify key metrics and provide regular reporting on how we are progressing against them to the Head of Development.

What you need to have:

  • Outstanding communication skills
  • An instinctive understanding of group dynamics
  • Expertise in Agile principles and frameworks
  • Recognised Agile certification
  • A broad toolkit of facilitation, training and coaching techniques.
  • 2 – 3 years of experience
  • Can coach on a one to one or team level
  • Interaction with stakeholders at all levels of the business
  • The ability to empathize with, but not sympathize with, teams
