- Reports to Assistant Cash Office Manager, to carry out daily cashier duties, including cash/credit card transactions, special order deposits, tax refunds, returns and exchanges, in accordance with Cash Management Standard Operating Procedure
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times, ensuring Customer compliance is adhered to Assist in the training of New Starters where necessary.
- Assist with basic cash office functions when necessary to include opening, closing, and daily cash office paperwork.
Overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Cash Wraps and registers to include;
- Receipt and return of till float
- Accurate processing of all transactions
- Daily reconciliation
- Customer Compliance as per Company Policy and Procedure.
- Preparing and completing daily cash office paperwork as per policies and procedures on an adhoc basis
- Ensuring transactions are processed in accordance with PCI Compliance rules.
- Communicate effectively with Assistant Cash Office Manager- Supervisor to resolve issues/errors
- Identifying and communicating “At risk” Transactions to Assistant Cash Office
- Maintaining Cash Wrap standards.
- Monitoring Packaging and liaising with the Stockroom to maintain Stock levels
- Work closely with Assistant Cash Office Manager – Supervisor
- Any additional Adhoc requirements the business may require from time to time.
