ASSISTANT BUYER

Assist Category Buyer in development of seasonal ranges that are brought to market within desired timescales, meet or exceed both sales and Gross Margin targets whilst maintaining brand integrity.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Under take competitive shopping and store visits to develop a strong understanding of the Polo Brand and Outlet customer
  • Visit Ralph Lauren Full Price stores to understand seasonal product and concept direction
  • Gather key style information from production partners to ensure delivery deadlines and cost price requirements are met
  • Liaise with colleagues in Full Price and Wholesale to obtain most recent sales, pricing and trend information
  • Partner with EU and Global Merchandising teams to negotiate most commercial and profitable assortment, whilst delivering newness and supporting key market trends
  • Co-ordinate at the early stages of range building with international teams such Factory Outlets America and APAC to ensure assortments are aligned globally and best assortments are leveraged
  • Review historical sales analysis to support the Buyer in the development of seasonal strategies.
  • Create seasonal line sheets with all relevant product information and ensure they are kept up to date and accurate at all times
  • Work closely with Product Planning teams to plan units across the assortment
  • Prepare all relevant information and be organized ahead of sign off meetings and range reviews
  • Present ranges in sign off meetings to Buyer and Senior Management
  • Manage BAA  in all aspects of the buy cycle including sample management, product pack creation, trend and comp shop reports, rail preparation, display boards
  • Enter unit projections by style into order system and follow through end to end process
  • Work with International Production Partners to ensure PO’s have been created accurately and in a timely manner
  • Work closely with Logistics and Operations team to ensure deliveries meet product launch dates
  • Support BAA to track shipments to DC, communicating any changes to business partners concerned

  • Review weekly trade reports and monitor product performance – present back findings to Buyer

PRIVACY ANALYST

Ralph Lauren is seeking to hire a Privacy Analyst to support its business throughout Asia, Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions. The role can be based anywhere in Europe, reporting to the Privacy Manager based in Watford, United Kingdom.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of international data privacy laws and regulations to facilitate alignment of corporate privacy policies and practices.
  • Partner with stakeholder to conduct business and technical solutions assessments to ensure alignment with applicable data protection legal and regulatory standards.
  • Foster a culture of data protection awareness by delivering and tracking completion of education and awareness training to all corporate, and retail associates.
  • Support the global Privacy SaaS platform, including maintaining records of processing activities, data ownership, incidents and remediation activities, and reporting dashboard.
  • Facilitate ongoing regional assessment through creating of project artifacts, including reporting dashboards.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Have earned a four-year university degree of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant privacy and/or compliance experience management and/or IT knowledge of data protection law and privacy practices, preferably in a consumer, financial, consulting or similar organization.
  • Knowledge of data protection laws and practices, particularly GDPR.
  • Strong analytical and English spoken and written communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, and customers.
  • Ability to handle information and business affairs with confidentially as appropriate.

  • Domestic and International travel, up to 20% may occasionally be required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Have earned a Master, or equivalent post graduate degree of Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Analytics, Business, Legal, or related field is a plus. 
  • Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions, or industry privacy solutions, such as Varonis, OneTrust, or similar are a plus.
  • Support creation of dashboard reports from third party SaaS privacy platform to manage Data Subject Access Requests (DSAR), and Privacy Impact Analysis (PIA) is a plus.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & ACCREDITATIONS:

  • Multilingual business (oral and written) competency, in any of the following languages: German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin, Cantonese, and/or Korean is a significant plus.
  • Industry certifications: Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Manager (CIPM), Technologist (CIPT), or similar are a significant plus.

Cashier

  • Reports to Assistant Cash Office Manager, to carry out daily cashier duties, including cash/credit card transactions, special order deposits, tax refunds, returns and exchanges, in accordance with Cash Management Standard Operating Procedure
  • Provide exceptional customer service at all times, ensuring Customer compliance is adhered to Assist in the training of New Starters where necessary.
  • Assist with basic cash office functions when necessary to include opening, closing, and daily cash office paperwork.

Key Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Cash Wraps and registers to include;
